In the book of Judges, the Bible tells the story of the valiant Israelite warrior, Gideon. The Lord called Gideon to defeat the Midianites and reclaim the land of Israel for His people. Gideon immediately gathered an army for battle. Over 30,000 applied for the job to fight the Midianites, but after all was said and done, Gideon's Army had dwindled down to only 300 men. With this small host of brave warriors, Gideon defeated the enemies of Israel with the miraculous help of the Lord.

In the spirit of Gideon's valiant army of 300, Jerry Robinson has created The 300 Club.
